A 25-mL single-neck round-bottomed flask equipped with a magnetic stirrer and a reflux condenser was charged with 3-bromo-5-{4,4-dimethyl-9-oxo-1,10-diazatricyclo[6.4.0.02,6]dodeca-2(6),7-dien-10-yl}pyridine-4-carbaldehyde 107f (233 mg, 0.60 mmol), 1-methyl-3-({5-methyl-4H,5H,6H,7H-pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrazin-2-yl}amino)-5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-1,2-dihydropyridin-2-one 135a (231 mg, 0.60 mmol), Pd(dppf)Cl2 (49 mg, 0.060 mmol), potassium acetate (118 mg, 1.2 mmol), K3PO4.trihydrate (320 mg, 1.2 mmol), acetonitrile (12 mL), and water (5 drops). After three cycles of vacuum/argon flush, the mixture was heated at 110° C. for 2 h. It was then filtered and the filtrate was evaporated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by silica-gel column chromatography eluting with 30:1 dichloromethane/methanol to afford 150a (168 mg, 49%) as a solid. MS-ESI: [M+H]+ 567
