To a solution of N-(4-chloro-3-(5-oxo-1-(4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)benzyl)-2,2,2-trifluoroacetamide (0.400 g, 0.861 mmol) in THF (5.0 mL) was added KOH aqueous solution (0.096 g, 1.72 mmol) and the reaction mass was stirred at RT for 3-4 h. The reaction mass was quenched in water and extracted with ethyl acetate and concentrated to afford 0.200 g of the desired product.
