To a solution of N-(3-(1-(4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-4,5-dihydro-5-oxo-1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)-2,4-dimethylbenzyl)-2,2,2-trifluoro acetamide (Example-106, 0.800 g, 1.74 mmol) in THF (10 mL), aqueous solution of KOH was added and the reaction mass was stirred at RT for 3-4 h. After completion of the reaction, the reaction mass was quenched with water and extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was separated, dried over anhydrous sodium sulphate and concentrated to afford 0.200 g of the desired product. MS (m/z): 362.86 (M+H)+.
