Reaction Steps
Methyl 6-((tert-butylsulfinyl)imino)hexanoate was prepared from methyl hept-6-enoate according to the procedure described for ethyl 6-((tert-butylsulfinyl)imino)hexanoate. Purification by FC (DCM/MeOH=25/1) afforded methyl 6-((tert-butylsulfinyl)imino)hexanoate as a yellow oil. LC-MS (conditions D): tR=0.87 min.; [M+H]+: 248.17 g/mol.
