To 1-(2-fluorobenzyl)-5-methylpiperidine-3-carboxylic acid (1.6 mmol) in 5 ml ACN, DPPA (2.4 mmol) and Et3N (4.8 mmol) were added. The reaction was stirred at 80° C. for 2 h, then 3-(pyridin-4-yl)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-1H-pyrazolo[4,3-c]pyridine HCl salt (1.6 mmol) was added. The reaction was stirred at 80° C. for another 2 h. The reaction mixture was filtered through celite and concentrated under vacuo. The crude product was purified using prep LC/MS.
