To 4-(6-fluoropyridin-3-yl)-1-methylpyrrolidin-2-one(100 mg, 0.515 mmol) was added ammonium hydroxide (2 mL, 15.41 mmol). The reaction mixture was heated in heating block at 140° C. for 48h. LC-MS shows 80% product. Reaction mixture was evaporated. Azeotrope with Toluene (x=3) and proceed for next step. LCMS (m/z): 192.2 (MH+), 0.256 min.
