(R)—N—((R)-1-(3-fluoro-5-(fluoromethyl)phenyl)allyl)-2-methylpropane-2-sulfinamide (660 mg, 2.297 mmol) in MeOH (7.66 mL), was added HCl (4 M in dioxane) (5.742 mL, 22.97 mmol) at 0° C., the reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 h, The reaction mixture was concentrated to dryness. Sat. Na2CO3 was added, the reaction mixture was then extracted by EtOAc. The organic was dried and concentrated to yield the crude product. The crude product was used in next step reaction without purification. LCMS (m/z): 184.1 (MH+), 0.40 min.
