To a solution of ethyl 5-amino-6-(4-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)-3-fluorophenyl)pyrazine-2-carboxylate (0.253 g, 0.7 mmol) in DCM (4 mL) at RT was added TFA (2.157 mL, 28.0 mmol). The resultant solution was stirred at RT for 2 hours. The reaction solution was concentrated and further dried to afford the crude desired product as a TFA salt. This product was directly used at the next step. 0.214 g (100% yield) of light sticky liquid was obtained. LC-MS (m/z): 306.1 (MH+), 0.563 min.
