Concentrated hydrochloric acid (0.16 ml) was added to an aqueous solution (2 ml) of the sodium 2-(4-fluorophenyl)-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyridine-7-carboxylate (530 mg) obtained in (Example 5.2) <Step 2>, and the obtained mixture was then stirred for 15 minutes. Thereafter, the precipitated solid was collected by filtration, so as to obtain the title compound (196 mg) in the form of a whitish brown solid.
