Reaction Steps
A solution of ethyl 2-{3,4-difluoro-5-[(phenylmethyl)oxy]phenyl}-2-methylpropanoate (111 mg, 0.332 mmoles) in EtOH (2 mL) was degassed and flushed with N2. To the solution was added Pd/C (10% by weight) and a H2 balloon was attached. After overnight under H2, the solution was filtered through celite and concentrated to afford 95 mg of crude product purified by Biotage.
