The mixture of tert-butyl (2S,4S)-2-(hydroxymethyl)-4-{[(1-isopropyl-1H-indazol-3-yl)carbonyl]amino}pyrrolidine-1-carboxylate (115 mg, 0.286 mmol, step 2 of Example 7) and 10% hydrochloric acid in methanol (5 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 14 h and concentrated under reduced pressure. The resulting residue was basified with saturated sodium hydrogencarbonate aqueous solution, extracted with dichloromethane (100 mL). The organic layer was separated, dried over sodium sulfate, and concentrated under reduced pressure. The resulting residue was recrystallized from isopropyl ether to give 79 mg (91%) of the title compound as a white crystal.
