To a solution of 210 mg (0.623 mmol) of tert-butyl 3-[1(3,5-difluorophenyl)-2,2-dimethylpropylidene]azetidine-1-carboxylate in 1 mL of CH2Cl2, was added 1.5 mL of TFA followed by stirring for 1 h at rt. The reaction mixture was concentrated and washed with ether to afford the title compound as white solid; Mass Spectrum: m/e=238 (M+1).
