The procedure of Example 8 was repeated except that the following amounts of materials were used: BCB-AA acid chloride from Example 6 (40.98 g, 212.7 mmol), toluene (200 mL), triethylamine (29.11 g, 287.7 mmol) and trimethylolpropane allyl ether (18.18 g, 104.3 mmol). The product was isolated as a clear orange colored viscous oil. Yield: 36.02 g (71.6%). 1H NMR (500 MHz, Chloroform-d) δ 7.68 (d, J=15.9 Hz, 2H), 7.35 (dd, J=7.6, 1.4 Hz, 2H), 7.24 (s, 2H), 7.06 (d, J=7.6 Hz, 2H), 6.39 (d, J=16.0 Hz, 2H), 5.89 (ddt, J=17.2, 10.7, 5.5 Hz, 1H), 5.37-5.23 (m, 1H), 5.17 (dd, J=10.4, 1.6 Hz, 1H), 4.25 (d, J=2.1 Hz, 4H), 3.98 (d, J=5.5 Hz, 2H), 3.44 (s, 2H), 3.19 (s, 8H), 1.59 (q, J=7.6 Hz, 2H), 0.96 (t, J=7.6 Hz, 3H).
