PROCEDURE

实验过程

A mixture of ethyl (Z)-2-hydroxyimino-2-(2-tritylaminothiazol-4-yl)acetate (II) (5.00 g, 10.9 mmoles), CH3I (2.04 mL, 32.8 mmoles) and K2CO3 (4.54 g, 32.8 mmoles) in dry dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) (100 mL) was stirred at room temperature overnight and then poured into water (250 mL). The precipitate which formed was collected by filtration, washed with water and dried to give the title compound (5.15 g, quantitative yield). Mp. 115° C. (dec.)
