Reaction Steps

Dissolve the product of Example 7 in 2-propanol and add concentrated NH4OH. Stir the mixture at 25° C. for 24 h and then evaporate to dryness. Triturate the residue with Et2O (2×250 ml) and discard the ether. Chromatograph the resulting product on a silica gel column using 4% (10% concentrated NH4OH in CH3OH)--CH2Cl2 as the eluant to give the title compound.
