Reaction Steps

The title compound is prepared as described in EXAMPLE 90, Part A using 7-methoxynaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid [1-(3-cyanobenzyl)-2-oxopyrrolidin-3-(S)-yl]amide (0.100 g, 0.23 mmol), prepared as described in EXAMPLE 43, part A, and thiophene-2-ylmethyl bromide (0.10 g, 0.56 mmol). The crude product is triturated with hexane/ether and used without further purification.
