Reaction Steps
To 1 g of 3-nitro-1,2,4-triazole-5-carboxylic acid methyl ester dissolved in 5 ml of dioxane is added 1 g of methoxy ethylamine. The reaction mixture is warmed at 40°-50° C. for 2 hr with stirring.
