The alcohol (3.0 g) from Example 3 was stirred in 25 ml of trifluoroacetic acid at 68° C. for 30 minutes. The solution was allowed to cool to room temperature, and the volatile components were removed in vacuo to afford 510 mg of the desired sulfonamide, m.p. 157°-161° C.
