Reaction Steps
Prepared by the method described in Example 115 from 4,5-dibromo-3-(1-methylethoxy)-1-methyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid (3.5 g, 0.01 moles), 1,1'-carbonyldiimidazole (1.7 g, 0.01 moles), and 5-aminotetrazole (0.87 g, 0.01 moles). Recrystallization from ethyl acetate gave the product (2.1 g); mp 218°-220° C. (dec).
