4-Methylbenzenesulfonic acid (10.57 mg, 0.061 mmol) was added in one portion to a solution of 5-amino-1-(1,1,1-trifluoro-2-methylpropan-2-yl)-1H-pyrrole-3-carbonitrile (133.3 mg, 0.614 mmol) and 1,1,3,3-tetramethoxypropane (111 μl, 0.675 mmol) in toluene (1227 μl) at RT. The mixture was heated at 100° C. for 1 h and purified directly by HPLC to afford the title compound as a brown solid.
