To 5-chloro-7-(cyclopropylamino)pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-3-carbaldehyde (177 mg, 0.75 mmol) in 1,4-dioxane was added 3-chloroaniline (397 μl, 3.75 mmol). The mixture was heated in microwave at 120° C. for 60 minutes. Precipitate was filtered off, and the filtrate was prepared by TLC (1% methanol/dichloromethane) to yield 26 mg (11% yield) of 5-(3-chlorophenylamino)-7-(cyclopropylamino)pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-3-carbaldehyde. LCMS (M+1=328)
