Reaction Steps
Ethyl 2-(methylthio)-6-oxo-1,6-dihyropyrimidine-5-carboxylate (313 mg, 1.460 mmol) and 1-benzylpyrrolidin-3-amine (257 mg, 1.460 mmol) were dissolved in 10 mL of ethanol and heated at 80° C. overnight. The precipitate was not evident so the solution was heated to 90° C. overnight. The final product was then recovered.
