1-[(2,2-Difluorocyclopropyemethyl]-5-(1,2,3,3a,4,6a-hexahydrocyclo-penta-[c]pyrrol-5-yl)-3-methyl-1,3-dihydro-2H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridin-2-one (14-2, 50 mg, 0.14 mmol, 1.0 equiv), and DIPEA (0.076 mL, 0.43 mmol, 3.0 equiv) were added to anhydrous methylene chloride (2 mL). Stirred for 5 min and methanesulfonyl chloride (12.0 μL, 0.16 mmol, 1.1 equiv) was added. After stirring for 10 min at room temperature, LCMS showed consumption of starting material. Purification by reverse-phase HPLC (20-100% CH3CN:0.1% TFA in H2O) provided 15-1 as a pale yellow oil. MS m/z (M+H): calculated=425.1456; observed=425.1465.
