Procedure

m-Chloroperoxybenzoic acid (48 mg, 0.21 mmol) was added at 0° C. to a solution of 49a) (0.18 g, 0.25 mmol) in dichloromethane (20 mL) and the resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature for 4 h. The reaction was quenched with saturated sodium sulfite solution (20 mL) and stirred for further 5 min. The organic layer was separated, washed with saturated sodium hydrogen carbonate solution (2×20 mL) and brine (1×20 mL), dried over sodium sulphate and concentrated. The residue was purified by flash column chromatography [methanol/dichloromethane=1:25]. White solid. Yield: 0.06 g (53% of theory)
