A mixture of (4S)-4-((tert-butyl(dimethyl)silyl)oxy)-1-(1-methyl-4-nitro-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)pyrrolidin-2-one (2.7 g), 10% palladium-carbon (0.85 g), THF (27 mL) and methanol (27 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 2 hr under hydrogen atmosphere. The reaction mixture was filtered through a membrane filter, and the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure to give the title compound (2.3 g).
