To a mixture of 4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)pyridin-2-amine (4.28 g), ethyl 2-bromo-1,3-oxazole-4-carboxylate (4.28 g), potassium carbonate (5.38 g) and DME (78 mL)/water (19.45 mL) was added dichloro[1,1′-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene]palladium(II) (0.712 g), and the mixture was stirred at 80° C. for 3 hr under argon atmosphere, poured into water, and extracted with ethyl acetate. The extract was washed with saturated brine, and dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, and the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (NH, ethyl acetate/hexane) to give the title compound (1.42 g).
