55 μl of trifluoroacetic acid were added to a solution of 39 mg of tert-butyl {-4-[5-(2,5-difluorophenoxy)-7-propyloxazolo[5,4-d]pyrimidin-2-yl]-2,6-dimethylphenoxy}acetate in 0.4 ml of dichloromethane, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 16 h. The reaction was then concentrated under reduced pressure, and the residue was triturated with diisopropyl ether, filtered off with suction and dried. This gave 21 mg (60%) of the title compound.
