Analogously to example 1 (e), the reaction of 170 mg of 5-(4-chlorobenzyl)-7-isopropyl-2-(4-methoxy-3,5-dimethylphenyl)oxazolo[5,4-d]pyrimidine with boron tribromide gave 115 mg (70%) of the title compound.
