A solution of 5-(3-(6-(isopropylamino)pyrazin-2-yl)-1-tosyl-1H-indol-5-yl)-N-(4-methoxybenzyl)-1,2,4-thiadiazol-3-amine (0.5 g, 0.80 mmol) in TFA (5 mL) was heated in Biotage microwave at 100° C. for 30 min. TFA was removed in vacuo and the residue was washed with Et2O (10 mL) to give the crude 5-(3-(6-(isopropylamino)pyrazin-2-yl)-1-tosyl-1H-indol-5-yl)-1,2,4-thiadiazol-3-amine (0.5 g) as an off yellow solid, which was used for next step without any purification. MS (ESI, pos. ion) m/z: 506.0 (M+1).
