Following the general method of example 3, cis-[4-(4-benzyloxy-phenyl)-cyclohexyl]-(3-phenyl-propyl)-amine, (710 mg; 17% light yellow oil, MS: m/e=400.4 (M+H+)) trans-[4-(4-benzyloxy-phenyl)-cyclohexyl]-(3-phenyl-propyl)-amine (1.26 g; 30% white crystals, MS: m/e=400.4 (M+H+)) were prepared from 4-(4-benzyloxy-phenyl)-cyclohexanone (3.0 g; 10.7 mmol) and 3-phenyl-propylamine(1.45 g; 10.7 mmol).
