Consequently, a polymerization reaction, using as a catalyst triethylamine contained in the base particles, took place on the surface of the base particles between 2-mercaptoethanol and terephthaloyl chloride, forming a film of 2-mercaptoethanol-terephthaloyl chloride co-polymer.
