Combine 1-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoyl)-3-(pyrid-3-yl)-3-(2-methanesulfonyloxyethyl)pyrrolidine (0.54 g, 1.16 mmol), 4-(1-(2-ethoxyethyl)-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)[1,4]diazepane (0.95 g, 1.74 mmol), and N,N-diisopropylethylamine (0.81 mL, 4.64 mmol) in acetonitrile (16 mL). Heat to reflux. After 24 hour, evaporate in vacuo, dilute with dichloromethane, and extract with brine. Dry the organic layer over Na2SO4, filter, and evaporate in vacuo to give a residue. Chromatograph the residue on silica gel eluting with 6/1/0.5 methanol/ethyl acetate/concentrated aqueous ammonia to give the title compound: Rf=0.27 (silica gel, 6/1/0.5 methanol/ethyl acetate/concentrated aqueous ammonia).
