To a solution of (1R,6S or 1S,6R)-6-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-1-[(ethyloxy)methyl]-3-azabicyclo[4.1.0]heptane (E19a, 11 mg) in DCM (0.2 ml) was added 1 equivalent of HCl (1M in Et2O), the solvent evaporated under vacuo and the material thus obtained triturated with Et2O to give 8.9 mg of the title compound as a white slightly hygroscopic solid.
