A mixture of 20% sodium hydroxide (5 ml) and the compound of Example 87 (1.15 g, 2.9 mmol) in 25 ml ethanol was heated at 100° C. for 2 h. The mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate (100 ml) and the organic layer was washed with water (50 ml) and brine (25 ml). The solvent was removed under reduced pressure and the crude was purified by column chromatography over silica gel to give the product in 68% yield (0.7 g).
