To a solution of 5-(6-benzyloxy-2-methyl-2,3-dihydrobenzo[b]thiophen-5-yl)-2-(2,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-1,1-dioxo-1,2,5-thiadiazolidin-3-one (71 mg, 0.13 mmol) in DCM (8 mL) is added TFA (10 mL) and the mixture is stirred at RT for 4 h. TFA and DCM are removed under vacuum to give the title compound and it is used directly in the next step: (M+H)+=301.
