The title compound was prepared in accordance with Example 1(b) from 5-(4-tert-butylphenyl)indole-2-carboxylic acid ethyl ester (see Example 1(a)) and 4-bromo-1-isopropoxy-2-nitrobenzene (see step (a) above), followed by ester hydrolysis in accordance with the procedure described in Example 35, Method 3, step (b).
