Procedure
2.2 g of N-benzylpiperazine and 2.5 g of 2-methylthio-1,3-dithiolium perchlorate were treated in the same manner as in Example 26, and the product was recrystallized from water-ethanol, whereby 2.6 g (yield: 68.9%) of 1-(1,3-dithiol-2-ylidene)-4-benzylpiperazinium perchlorate (Compound No. 33) was obtained as crystals having a melting point of from 224° to 226° C.
Workup
- customthe product was recrystallized from water-ethanol
