2.9 g (18 mmol) of 3-aminomethyl-2,5-dimethoxytetrahydrofuran (DE-A 26 45 234) were dissolved in 20 ml of anhydrous tetrahydrofuran. At 0° C., 2.9 g (15 mmol) of 4-ethoxycarbonylphenyl isocyanate dissolved in 10 ml of anhydrous tetrahydrofuran were added dropwise. The mixture was then stirred at room temperature for 1 h and then concentrated under reduced pressure, resulting in 5.5 g of the crude product.
