3,4-Dichlorophenyl isocyanate (334 mg, 1.74 mmol) was added at 0° C. to a solution of (S)-1-(3-hydroxy-propyl)-3-methyl-piperazin-2-one (intermediate 20D; 300 mg, 1.74 mmol) in tetrahydrofuran (3 ml), then after 2.5 h the reaction mixture was evaporated. Chromatography (SiO2; dichloromethane/methanol/25% aq. ammonia solution 90:10:0.25) produced the title compound (577 mg, 92%). White foam, MS (ISP)=360.1 (M+H)+.
