Reaction Steps

In analogy to the procedure described for example 58D, (R)-4-((S)-1-methoxymethyl-3-oxo-propyl)-2-methyl-5-oxo-[1,4]diazepane-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester and (S)-6-aza-spiro[2.5]octan-4-ol hydrochloride (intermediate 2) gave the title compound in 94% yield as yellow viscous oil. MS: 440.4 (MH+).
