Procedure
Prepared as in example 10-5 from 3-(1-((3,5-dimethylisoxazol-4-yl)methyl)-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-5-methylimidazolidine-2,4-dione (example 10-41) and benzyl bromide. Yield: 50%. 1H NMR (CDCl3, 400 MHz): δ 1.44 (s, 3H), 2.19 (s, 3H), 3.88 (s, 3H), 4.18 (d, J=8 Hz, 2H), 4.22 (t, 1H, J=4 Hz)), 5.06 (s, 2H), 7.39-7.29 (m, 5H), 7.94 (s, 1H), 8.10 (s, 1H). The title compound was shown to inhibit hT2R08 bitter receptor and had an IC50 of 0.02 μM.
