Reaction Steps
15.8 g (0.05 mole) of 2,2-dimethyl-3-(2',2'-dibromovinyl)-cyclopropanecarboxylic acid chloride are added dropwise, whilst stirring, to 5.1 g (0.05 mole) of pyridine, 100 ml of absolute ether and 11.4 g (0.05 mole) of 3-phenoxy-α-vinyl-benzyl alcohol at 0°-5° C.
