Reaction Steps
Following the method of Example 49 (Method 2), tert-butyl 1-(2-nitro-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)piperidin-4-yl-carbamate in MeOH was reduced yielding tert-butyl 1-(2-amino-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)piperidin-4-ylcarbamate (97%). LCMS (m/z): 360.1 (MH+); LC Rt=3.20 min.
