Reaction Steps
Method 8 was followed using 1 eq. of 5-bromocytosine, 1.25 eq. of 3-fluoropiperidine and 2.5 eq. of diisopropylethylamine at 120° C. for 2 days yielding 6-amino-5-(3-fluoropiperidin-1-yl)pyrimidin-2(1H)-one as an orange crunchy solid (24%). LCMS (m/z): 213.0 (MH+); LC Rt=1.07 min.
