Procedure
The synthesis is carried out analogously to Example 1 (2 hours reflux). 7-Chloro-6-fluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-8-nitro-1-phenyl-quinoline-3-carboxylic acid and N-methylpiperazine are used as the starting substances. The quinoline-3-carboxylic acid hydrochloride (I) (R=C6H5, X1 =NO2, X2 =F, A=4-methyl-1-piperazinyl) obtained as the reaction product has a melting point >300° C. (with decomposition). Melting point of the betaine: 240°-245° C.
