A mixture of 4-(7-chloro-1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)-2-pyrimidin-2-yl-5-(trifluoromethyl)pyrazol-3-amine (0.383 g, 1.00 mmol) and 2,5-dimethoxytetrahydrofuran (0.145 g, 1.10 mmol) in acetic acid was stirred under reflux for 1 hour. After cooling, the precipitate was filtered off and recrystallized from ethanol to give the title compound (0.262 g, 57%).
