Procedure
To a room temperature slurry of tert-butyl(trans-3-(5-bromo-3-cyclopropyl-2-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyrazin-1-yl)cyclobutyl)carbamate (0.556 g, 1.31 mmol) in dioxane (10 mL) was added hydrogen chloride, 4.0M solution in 1,4-dioxane (5.0 mL, 20.00 mmol). After stirring overnight the reaction was filtered and the precipitate was washed with Et2O to give 430 mg of a white amorphous solid. ESI MS 323.9, 325.9 [M+1].
