(S)-tert-Butyl 2-(4-(5-(4-fluorophenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl)phenyl)morpholine-4-carboxylate (45 mg, 0.105 mmol) was dissolved in dioxane (1 ml) and a solution of HCl in dioxane (4M, 0.317 ml, 1.27 mmol) was added. The reaction mixture was stirred for 2 h at 60° C. After cooling ether (2 ml) was added and the solid was filtered off. It was washed with ether and dried in vacuo to afford (S)-2-(4-(5-(4-fluorophenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl)phenyl)morpholine hydrochloride (32 mg, 84%) as a white solid. MS (ISP): 326.1 ([M+H]+).
