(S)-tert-Butyl 2-(4-(1-(4-fluorophenyl)-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)phenyl)morpholine-4-carboxylate (45 mg, 0.106 mmol) was dissolved in dioxane (0.2 ml) and a solution of HCl in dioxane (4M, 0.4 ml, 1.59 mmol) was added. The reaction mixture was stirred at 60° C. overnight. After cooling ether (2 ml) was added and the solid was filtered off. It was washed with ether and dried in vacuo to afford (S)-2-(4-(1-(4-fluorophenyl)-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)phenyl)morpholine hydrochloride (38 mg, 99%) as a white solid. MS (ISP): 324.2 ([M+H]+).
