(S)-tert-Butyl 2-(4-(5-(4-fluorophenyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)phenyl)morpholine-4-carboxylate (28 mg, 0.066 mmol) was dissolved in dioxane (0.5 ml) and a solution of HCl in dioxane (4M, 0.2 ml, 0.79 mmol) was added. The reaction mixture was stirred at 60° C. for 2 h. After cooling ether (2 ml) was added and the solid was filtered off. It was washed with ether and dried in vacuo to afford (S)-2-(4-(5-(4-fluorophenyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)phenyl)morpholine hydrochloride (26 mg, 99%) as a white solid. MS (ISP): 325.2 ([M+H]+).
